Arroyo Grande Creek – Invasive Species Removal

Arroyo Grande Creek
needs you!

Join us on June 11 at from 9 am to 1 pm at 229 Stanley Avenue, Arroyo Grande, to spruce up habitat for native wildlife and maintain the Pool Trail to the creek. Bring water, sunscreen, and a hat.

You’ll be joined by Watershed Steward Program (WSP) volunteers to kick off this restoration project located adjacent to Creek Lands Conservation headquarters. Spend part of your Saturday getting to know us, Arroyo Grande Creek, and enthusiastic Watershed Stewards. You’ll be part of a new chapter for the partnership to make Arroyo Grande Creek more climate resilient. Please also see the attached flyer from our Watershed Stewards event partners.

This effort is part of a larger plan with the Paulding Middle School to design and install a water conservation garden that demonstrates how we can all slow water, sink it and spread it to make the most efficient use of our rainfall resource. We’ll be showing you along the way how to design and build these water saving features into your homescape to become part of the solution to making our landscapes water resilient.
