Neeraj grew up in northern India and moved to coastal California about nine years ago. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara working on geometric optimization algorithms. Currently, he works as a Research Scientist in the Datacenter Optimization Group at Meta. He loves the outdoors; mountains, lakes, ocean and wildlife and hopes to bring his computer science background to environmental monitoring and educational programs at Creek Lands Conservation.
