Gabrielle grew up moving around the country, however she calls Southern California home. Throughout many moves and living in different states, she always found peace in being outdoors.

 

Gabrielle is a fourth year Environmental Management and Protection student at Cal Poly SLO and is minoring in Land Rehabilitation and Restoration Ecology, Sustainable Agriculture and Sustainable Environments. She has served as a student leader at Cal Poly’s Center for Engineering, Science and Mathematics Education for three years. She has experience teaching elementary and middle school science with an emphasis on environmental education and outdoor learning.

 

Gabrielle aims to inspire everyone she meets to be an environmentalist. She hopes to foster respect and appreciation of nature through education. In her free time, Gabrielle enjoys gardening, sewing, knitting and thrift shopping.
